Job Role: News Reporter / Content Writer
The Uditraj News role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role involves researching and writing news stories, conducting interviews, and developing clear, engaging content for online publication in Hindi and/or English.
Daily Responsibilities: Monitoring current events, verifying information and sources, collaborating with editors and other team members, and preparing reports for digital broadcasting formats. The role also requires adhering to editorial guidelines, meeting publication deadlines, and contributing ideas for coverage that reflect the interests and concerns of a wide audience.
Qualifications Required
- Strong news writing and general writing skills, with ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging content
- Effective communication skills, including ability to conduct interviews and collaborate with editorial teams
- Broadcasting skills for presenting news in digital formats, with confidence and clarity on camera or audio
- Research skills for gathering information, verifying facts, and developing well-supported stories
- Proficiency in Hindi and/or English; ability to work with bilingual content is an advantage
- Understanding of digital news platforms and basic online publishing practices
- Strong ethical judgment and commitment to non-discriminatory, balanced reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced newsroom environment and meet tight deadlines on-site in New Delhi
